Our journey began with Derek who started as a self-employed individual, pouring his heart and soul into his work. When his mother sadly passed away in 2006 and left her flat in Hartlepool to Derek, this marked the beginning of his property journey, where he built his own property portfolio.
As his expertise and reputation grew, his daughter Jen began working alongside Derek as they ventured into property management. Jen played a vital role in the business and set up D P Property lettings and focused on systemising the business to ensure both compliance and the delivery of exceptional service. Jen Recognised the potential of the business and joined forces with her sister Sam, and together, we have steadily transformed our family business.
For many years, we worked from the comfort of Derek’s home. However, in September 2021, we took a significant step forward by moving our Lettings business into a dedicated office space. This milestone allowed us to enhance our services, streamline our operations, and better serve our valued clients.
While Derek, continues to work from home, he plays a vital role in our business. His expertise in sourcing properties for investors is unparalleled, and he remains a trusted contact for sellers in Hartlepool seeking an efficient and reliable service to sell their property.

We have built trusted relationships with local contractors and tradesman, because of this we can offer a hands-free service where we can organise and manage anything from full refurbishments to minor repairs. We work closely with landlords and investors who appreciate this service, with this service we take away the stress, but we do understand the importance of clear communication and ensure all/any work/s is communicated including, full quotes received in advanced and approved, before and after photos and final invoices forwarded. All our contractors are spot checked and have full insurances and relevant qualifications.
